Company Profile

MSQ's web site was never to be about generarting or even cultivating leads. Their niche was too specific; their target market was equally unique and limited. However, the management team at MSQ understood that people were still looking them up online for various reasons. The old site was not reflecting the correct image. It was a home grown and out-dated site.

Solutions & Benefits

This site is designed for a 1024x768 resolution; currently the most common resolution setting. 800x600 resolution used to be the most common, but today steadily declining and currently less than 30%. The search feature indexes all text, allowing for quick product searches by common names instead of the technical names.

The MartinStone.com site supports 3 initiatives.

First, MSQ's unique location, like many industrial businesses, is near a residential community. As a result, it was necessary to have a good public relations policy via communication. This comes with an attractive web site coupled with web based PR updates to coincide with print media attention.

Second, MSQ's management team now uses the site to support attracting new prospective employees.

Third, when customers inquire about the MSQ product line to select the specific size and type, MSQ directs the customer to the web site to view sets of product pictures. During this process, customers find the quantity calculator tool to be a valued added service. The last product supporting feature is the search tool, which allows the customer to find a product by the more common product name instead of the technical name. While the site does not generate or cultivate leads, it supports already existing warm sales inquiries.
